Demetri has extensive experience working with small businesses and startups at all stages of business lifecycle, and has been of the first employees at a number of companies. He has also had significant experience developing leading-edge technologies for government customers such as DARPA, Army, Navy, and Air Force. His areas of expertise include analog circuits, embedded systems, sensors, solid-state devices, and MEMS. He has contributed to the development of medical devices including physiological status monitoring systems, wearable electronics, EEG system, neural interfaces, proton therapy systems, contrast injectors, blood analysis systems, and more. He routinely serves as a reviewer for the National Science Foundation SBIR panels.
Demetri holds a B.S., M.S., and Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor with follow-on work in analog circuit design at MIT.
