DIRECTOR, FINANCE & ADMINISTRATION

Lynn Armit Brown

As Director of Finance and Administration, Lynn Brown leads the team on accounting, budgeting, human resourcing, and administrative functions.

 

Lynn started her career in public accounting at CCR (now GrantThorton) performing audits, tax services and assisting businesses on internal controls and processes.

Lynn passed the CPA exam and grew into a manager role at CCR.  After leaving public accounting she served as the assistant controller for a speech recognition company assisting in their IPO bid.  While raising her children she consulted for various tech startups before taking a full time role at Archimedic.

Now, Lynn manages the financial health of Archimedic and has developed internal controls, policies and procedures to support our growth. She works with tax advisors, insurance providers, government agencies, vendors, and facilities to provide financial guidance and cost transparency for both clients and members of the team.

Lynn lives outside of Boston with her dog and college bound daughter.  Her son has completed his degree in film and is working in Boston and LA.  During her time off she enjoys skiing in the winter and time on the Cape in the summer.

Lynn holds a B.S. in Business from Worcester State University. She obtained her CPA license in 1996.
